Rishi Kapoor Shares A Video From New York As He Strolls With Anupam Kher
Rishi Kapoor suddenly departed for the USA, last week for some medical treatment, details of which he didn't specify. He just wrote on Twitter, "Hello all! I am taking a short leave of absence from work to go to America for some medical treatment. I urge my well wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. It’s been 45 years “plus”of wear and tear at the movies. With your love and good wishes,I  will be back soon! (sic)." Unfortunately, Rishi and his family, could not even be a part of Krishna Raj Kapoor's last rite as well. 

Amidst his treatment, Rishi has shared a video of him strolling with good friend, Rishi Kapoor on NYC streets. He captioned the video as, "New York,Manhattan. “Kher-free” or is it “Care-free”on Madison Avenue with colleague and old friend Anupam Kher this afternoon! (sic)." 

Anupam is currently in the US to shoot for his new Hollywood series. He even spoke to Sonali Bendre a few days back, who is also in New York getting treated for cancer.

It's surely a testing phase for Kapoors, as the family also lost their matriarch, a few days back. The whole film fraternity came forward to pay their last respects to Krishna Raj Kapoor. Not only Rishi, even son Ranbir Kapoor was not able to be present for the final rites but his girlfriend, Alia Bhatt did a video call to him from the crematory and made sure that Ranbir was a part of his dadi's final journey.
